MY ARTIST PROJECTS.
Joining the fantastical worlds created by their composition with metaphors of one’s personal journey through the human experience, Gainsworth are here to provide the soundtrack to our most memorable moments in life. The music is the emotion, the message and messenger It is the essence at the heart of the life giving tree. Gainsworth is a channel. A symbiosis of songwriting, storytelling and expression. A love for detail combined with a vision of grandeur.
MY BIO.
Born amidst the turbulence of the Soviet Union and raised in Germany, Hermann stems from a rich musical and cultural heritage. His father, a choir director and classical music professor in Latvia, deeply influenced Hermann’s early immersion in music. By the age of two, he was playing the keyboard and piano, and at four, he began learning the guitar. Fascinated by music technology, he spent his youth experimenting with MIDI keyboards and sequencers, recreating playbacks and honing his skills.
Having joined and played in several bands, Hermann decided to pursue formal music education. He studied „Producing and Composing Artist (PCA), M.A“ at Popakademie Baden-Württemberg. Several internships with a.o. Christian “Crada” Kalla refined his production skills. In 2019 Hermann earned his master’s degree.
From 2019 to 2024, Hermann worked alongside industry leaders at 2WEI, where he had the opportunity to work with and learn from sound-pioneers such as Ali Christenhusz, Simon Heeger and Christian Vorländer. Starting as a composer and eventually becoming a staff composer and creative director, he immersed himself in high-profile projects, producing music for advertising and trailers. His first major trailer placement was “Call of Duty: Story Trailer”.
Now forging his own path, Hermann aims to conquer the market for advertising and trailer music with his accumulated expertise. He is distinguished by his exceptional reliability and commitment to delivering high-quality work on time. His portfolio boasts many placements in major titles, as well as a staggering number of releases and placements in total.
These contributions have solidified his reputation in the music and gaming industries. Hermann’s dedication to innovation and his ability to fuse various musical influences have established him as a dynamic and influential figure. As he continues to create music that resonates globally, he remains committed to bridging the gap between tradition and modernity, bringing classical artistry into the contemporary world.
